I do not really agree with you that it is really effective when you are not using anything from wikipedia. I think you did use some right? :p To me, I think to use wikipedia is fine as long as we verify the facts from other websites. This is because wikipedia usually summarises everything is a short paragraph, and it is more time-effective to get a whole lot of info instead of reading 100 pages. I do not know whether you agree with me or not, but this is just solely my opinion.
I like your idea of always checking the mark scheme. I guess that's the thing that I have missed out especially when running out of time.
Can you please enlighten me the ways you organise the death penalty and abortion in your essay... Did you compare both of them or do you do it separately? I think I was in the same situation as you as I was focusing on euthanasia and the death penalty, I had some hard time trying to make both of the issues link together instead of giving the examiners an impression that I am doing 2 independent projects and merging them together purposely. Although I tried, I still think that it was not very effective as some of the points are really hard to compare. I wonder whether you have the same problem as me.
I think that's all from me! Please be kind enough to comment on my post also. :)
Since our focus of our projects are quite similar, how did you find complete statistics on abortion? From my research, all I got was chunks and chunks of outdated and incomplete information. I searched high and low for an abortion map, but the closest that I got was the Wikipedia one. And thank goodness for you, you found the appropriate map, which you used in your project as well. So THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
And the themes that you focus on are quite big as well, so how did you ensure that it was under 2000 words? And yes, checking your work with the mark scheme is as important as well to ensure that you are not going off topic.
Heyya! No offense but your poster looks like a freaking Christmas tree :DDDDD The fact that you included the amount of time you spent on particular sections really amazed me. How the heck do you keep track of time while doing GP? For me, doing GP is like hibernating. You fall asleep and the next thing you know winter's over. But Christmas' never over as long as someone looks at your poster :DDDD
