How does good feedback help us in our learning?

Feedback can help us in our learning because you will know which area that you need to improve on.

Here are some good and bad feedback...... Some are quotes from my friends that commented on my blog :)

Why blogs are a good way to give feedback?

Blogs are a good way to give feedback because you can look back what you had done which is good when you're doing revision. One of the student from UNSW (University of New South Wales) said that "It is also an easy to communicate ideas outside of the classroom" Teachers and students also can comment on the blog and give feedback.

Do you think you have been giving good feedback? Why you have or have not?

I think I have not been giving good feedback because I wasn't specific and I didn't list their targets to improve on. I normally just say " nice (Y)" (Y) is the thumbs up on skype :P So yea normally I just put it like this :) I added a feedback :)

Nice work. Great in detail, is simple and nice pictures too. Easy to understand especially the Prezi. :) And also WOW you calculate about the flush Good job keep up the good work :)

WAYS TO CONSERVE WATER IN A KITCHEN

- Plan ahead and thaw frozen foods overnight in the refrigerator rather than under running
water. Just right before you sleep take the frozen foods out from the freezer and put it in
the fridge. When you wake up take the frozen foods out form the fridge and the foods will
be already defrosted. This could help you to save a lot of water and this means that yourwaterbill will not be expensive.

- Another way to conserve water int he kitchen is the washing machine. Washing machine
uses a lot of water so don't just throw few clothes into the washing machine and wash it. It
waste water and your money. So always run full loads and also select the short cycle option.
It can reduce the water consumption in half.

- If you wash dishes by hand, wash them right after you use them that way the food doesn't harden and you can wash dishes with less water. It is a lot easier to wash them this way. Program the dishwasher cycles for the fewest washes and rinses. It can save water. Plan ahead to use the fewest dishes you can for eating and cooking.Less dishes= less loads= less water usage.

- Rising your fruits and vegetables yourself is the cheapest and the best way to save water. If you wash a head of lettuce all at once and then wrap it in a thin kitchen towel or paper towel, you will actually save water instead of washing the lettuce every time you make a salad or have a sandwich, literally at times piece by piece. An additional benefit is that you know everything will be clean so you can just eat it right away. You can dry them in your new dish rack, or you can wrap them in a towel to absorb any leftover water to avoid them getting mushy in the bag you bought them in.

CONSERVATION STRATEGIES IN THE HOME AND SCHOOL

Did you know that by fixing one leaky faucet at your school you can save over 3,000 gallons of water in one year? Now that's a lot of water! 97% of water on the Earth is salt water and only 3% is fresh water. THE ENTIRE HUMAN POPULATION IN THE WORLD ARE SHARING 3% OF FRESH WATER!!! THAT CAN'T LAST LONG!!! Did you know if you take a shower more than 3 mins the total amount you wasted is twice the amount of water if you take a bath??? :O And did you know that if you put mulch around plants it could conserve water :O
